Victorian

The most economical contemporary Bufftech fence is the Victorian.  This attractive style is commonly used to define property lines.  It’s also often used along retaining walls as a barrier to keep people and pets out of harms way. 
Although dimensionally the Victorian meets most Metro St. Louis pool codes in the heights of 4’, 5’, and 6’, the manufacturer does NOT recommend the Victorian for swimming pool containment.  This is due to the considerable side flexibility of the 7/8” x 1-1/2” picket. 
You need to be cautious when choosing to use the Victorian for dog containment.  Very small dogs may be able walk right through the 3-5/8” picket spacing.  Furthermore, even some large dogs have been known to squeeze between the pickets, because they push against the mid point of the pickets where they have the greatest amount of flexibility.  You know the temperament of your dog better than we do.  If you have any concern at all that your dog may be able to squeeze out of the fence (or a neighbor’s dog may be able to squeeze into your fence), we strongly advise you to choose a style with less picket flexibility!  As an alternative, we also offer the Victorian Custom.  Everything is the same as the Victorian, except the picket spacing is reduced to 2-15/16”.  For a slightly additional amount, this narrower spacing may be just the amount that’s needed to meet your needs!
